heartwarming and full of love, this author is honestly a master at weaving slice of life. the story is about a veterinarian student in modern times who gets transmigrated back to the 60s in china when it was still revitalising itself after the republic of china era. it’s a story of educated youths integrating with the local herders and how they come together.
the author clearly put so much effort into this novel, if you check their weibo you can see they’ve clearly done their research, i think they actually went to the grasslands and there are plenty of research photos in their album! the character profiles are also all hand-drawn by the author! honestly this novel was so good i bought it all + tipped landmines for the author on jjwxc bc it was that worth it, i think the whole novel cost around $15 AUD honestly so worth it!
one of my fav novels, do give it a go!
